Its been a while since I first released Cavern Collapse on Newgrounds - but its now available for all iOS devices!
A few months back, I made an effort to implement mobile touch controls and a few other items like cloud saves. I then submitted both Android and iOS versions to their respective app stores. After initial app store rejection and a good deal of back and forth with the Apple review team, the app is now live!
Android, while fully implemented, is not live yet. The Google Play store now requires a testing period of 2 weeks where a minimum of 20 beta testers actively use the app. (see info) I might've been able to find 20 friends / family that were willing to go through this process with me - but almost all of them use exclusively iOS. So I'l have to figure out a way to achieve that sometime in the future.
The app is free to download and contains no in-app purchases. Looking for feedback and possible improvements that can be implemented (and then be carried over into my next project). I appreciate anyone who takes time to install the game and give it a go!

I made a game called Cavern Collapse [Play it on NG Here]
I have been writing code for close to 5 years, and creating music and visuals for online platforms like YouTube for even longer - and I seriously underestimated the time and effort it takes to combine these skills a to create a functioning game. Over the course of ~1 year I sporadically worked on this little game. Sometimes its hard to motivate yourself to code for the fun of it after coding for 8+ hours at work.
I took my time, learned a lot, and now I think its finally done.
Big shoutout to Javi for creating the art assets I used in the game. It would certainly look like hot garbage without them. Here's a look at the mockup ideas I sent over vs. what he sent back a little over a year ago:

Thanks to @heyopc, @maxxjamez, @poptaffy, & @DrEojPuerte for testing out the game before release.
